Kawasaki FR691V engine from an Exmark Quest zero turn mower. The engine has compression, one cylinder is 125 and the other is 140. The starter wasn’t strong enough to start the engine on both cylinders but I started it on each cylinder with the spark plug removed from the other cylinder. The engine ran ok but was loud as the muffler is broken off. The oil was a little milky looking. I think at worst you could put new rings and gaskets in it and have a good engine. You may be able to flush the crankcase and replace the starter and be fine. The air filter was crumbling so I removed it before starting the motor. It comes as pictured. I got this off a mower I got at an estate sale, I have no history on it.
Good mower 54 in. Cut, Kawasaki 25 HP engine starts easily, no smoke excellent power, No cracks or breaks on deck or frame. Hydro Transmission works as should. Good seat, Good blades. Hour meter hard to read but believe 747 hrs.
This Cub Cadet Z-Force LZ 60 zero turn mower will likly be parted out, but as of October 21, 2023 it is available complete for a limited period of time. This is a running, cutting Z-Force LZ 60 mower with only 332 Hours. It’s equipped with a Kawasaki 24HP FR730V engine. See the short video of the mower running uphill, cutting and motoring about. I bought this mower used this past Spring and I’ve been using it to cut 20 acres of horse farm pastures since then. It has performed flawlessly. Engine runs great, doesn’t smoke, doesn’t leak.
