This is a limited edition 1:12 scale Gravely 260Z Mower. I believe this was introduced around 2005 or 2006 in a limited edition quantity. Made for Gravely by Towsley’s / TWH Collectibles. The model is a fine replica of the Gravely 260Z commercial 60 mower, there are several functioning features on this model. The drive tires freely rotate, and have a realistic molded turf tread pattern which is the exact likeness of the original. The front mounted caster wheels roll and the forks feature 360-degree rotation. The rear engine cover has flexible black plastic lockdown latches which fit in the holes on the cover. The entire engine cover and seat assembly tips forward giving access to the fully reproduced engine compartment. There is even a cable under there to prevent the seat assembly from tilting forward too far. Everything on the original 260Z is replicated on this model with the highest level of detail. The battery compartment has cables running from the battery, a rotating cooling fan is fitted and the radiator has flexible rubber pipes fitted to the in and out valves. The top mounted air filter is present along with a finely detailed engine block and muffler while two plastic fuel tanks are fitted to the sides. All warning and information labels are clearly visible inside the engine compartment, on the mowing deck and the rear frame has the “GRAVELY” name stamped through the rear panel. This model has three spindles which have rotating cutting blades under the deck, the blades are are driven by a series of rubber belts. Access to the belt drive is achieved by lifting the foot panel which reveals the simulated belt tensioning system which uses a spring to keep the belts tight on the pulleys. The entire mower shell is free floating with a foot operated deck lift to raise the deck up into transport mode. The discharge chute on is made of contoured flexible rubber, just like on the real machine. The controls are all fully replicated on this model, with the control panel housing the PTO switch along with various other switches and temperature gauge. The parking brake lever is fitted along with the main motion control levers which also feature tilting top handles to give easier access to get on and off the mower. The contoured seat is made of rubber and has a sliding mechanism allowing the seat to be adjusted. They have even added the seat adjustment controls to finish off this museum quality model. NOTE: This model is new and still in the original box. It has not been out of that box, any photos of the model shown out of the box are stock photos and shown for feature reference and detail only.
