For sale is a 1998 Toro Groundsmaster 580D wide area mower. This machine has the 80hp turbo diesel engine that runs STRONG! No smoke, no damage, no noises. This mower can mow a total of 16 feet in one pass. You can run one deck, any combination of 2 decks, and obviously 3 decks at a time. The transmission has a low speed for mowing, and a high speed for transport. This machine has, 2,674 hours, and only needs a few things to be 100% ready to work. Here are the items this machine needs: It will need 5 caster forks, and 10 caster wheels for the decks. Lastly, it needs a deck linkage arm on the left deck. You can see that the right deck has one. Its about 10 long, and I believe you can get these at tractor supply fairly cheap. Thats it for the NEEDS. Get those items, and this machine is ready for work. Worth noting: its missing the plastic covers for the tops of the decks. Most guys remove these anyway for easy cleaning, still worth mentioning. Lastly, I took close ups of the rust spots on the decks. They are pretty small now, but should be patched before they increase in size. Take care of these few items, and you have a very nice machine.
