Up for offer is a used Exmark LHP23KA505 commercial grade zero turn rider mower powered by a Kawasaki 23hp OHV engine with a 50 side discharge mower deck. The unit has a serial # of 67321X which makes it a unit produced in 2007. This is a compact commercial grade mower that has been sitting unused and apart for some period of time, and it was traded in on a new current model. The hour meter shown 855 hrs on the unit, which is a relatively low accrued amount of time. Please continue reading for a full disclosure of this units condition. This unit is equipped with a Kawasaki FH electric start 23hp OHV twin cylinder engine with an external screw on oil filter. The engine is apart as you see it now, and that is the way the unit was traded in. We cannot state the unit ran prior to dis-asembly since we never saw it in an assembled state – but it’s fair to say that people don’t take things apart for no good reason – so I would assume that there are some kind of repairs needed – or maybe you’d install another engine in place of what’s there now. The tires are intact and have some age cracks on them, the rear tires hold air as they are now , and the fronts should probably get tubes installed. We used a battery jump box hooked directly to the wire harness and the electric clutch did appear to operate. We looked at the hydro drive system , and all parts seem to be complete with no obvious problems seen from the outside – but you won’t know for sure until it’s running. >>> This unit has been sitting unused for a period of time and. Therefore have issues that. The motor is apart and will need to be re-assembled, or repaired, or replaced as needed. There is a crate of loose parts which appears to be all of the parts missing from the engine. The bolt through the front wheel is too long, the mower deck scalp/ roller wheels are worn, the bottom seat cushion is loose. There are belts are in place , but they show age and use. The 12v electric mower PTO clutch engages. The right and left side deck spindle shield/covers are missing, and there is no side chute in place. The mower deck drive belt idler tension arm pivot points are stiff and need lubrication. The deck lift linkage are very stiff and the mower does not raise and lower as easily as it should – but it does move. The drive system is equipped with independent left and right hydro drive systems which provide zero turn capabilities. The drive is intact with no parts missing. The seat bottom cushion is loose , and the vinyl is hardened and has faded, and the unit’s paint is a little faded. The motor is apart , the deck lift linkages needs lubrication, the deck belt tensioner/ idler arm need to be attended to, and missing guard and shields need to be replaced (and you may find more issues during restoration that are not visible at this time). Oo + this offer starts to show it’s appeal. We have tried to fairly state this units condition, and in no way do we wish to create false hopes – this unit is pretty much complete , but it will certainly require effort to bring out it’s potential – a “diamond in the rough” I believe best describes this offer. Overall this is a compact commercial quality Z mower that is used, is NOT currently functional, and has the service needs as listed above. As with any used piece of equipment – it may not be perfect it’s not even close! This unit likely can be made fully functional again with repairs made as needed , but it CANNOT be considered as “ready to run” as it is now. It will need attention for it to reach it’s full potential. If you do not have some mechanical aptitude (or have a good buddy with tools) , or you don’t like projects, then you may wish to avoid this offer.
