John Deere BUC10704 Mulch Control Kit, Z300 Series Zero Turn 42. The Mulch Control Kit for the 42 in. Accel Deep Mower Deck for gas Zero Turn mowers makes mulching more practical for many mowing situations. It not only does an excellent job of mulching but it also allows the mower to be easily converted when it is more desirable to side discharge or bag. Turn Mulch Control on with the flip of a lever when you want to mulch, turn off Mulch Control to side discharge or bag. It is an innovative design that is easy to use and maintain. Advantages include reduced debris in unwanted areas, less fertilizer use required and elimination of the need to dispose of clippings. Allows the mower to be easily converted for times when it is more desirable to mulch with the MulchControl handle on top of the mower deck. Mulching creates less need for fertilizer. Eliminate the need to dispose of clippings. Keep driveways and flower beds clear of grass clippings. Compatible with Z315E, Z320M, Z320R, Z335E, Z335M, Z345M, Z345R gas models. When MulchControl baffle is open, material flows freely out of the discharge deflector or into a material collection system. When MulchControl baffle is closed, material stays within the deck and gets chopped into mulch deposited in the turf. Please inspect and test the item immediately upon receipt. Retail Tag removed, damaged or replaced with a similar item while in the possession of the purchaser.
