This mower has never given me a problem other than the oil plug backing out on the original Kohler engine. Kohler amazingly warrantied the engine but it was Spring 2021 grass cutting season! OVERHEAD VALVE DESIGN O. 12 Volt electric start. Crankshaft Drilled/Tapped 7/16-20 ready for bolt. This vertical crankshaft engine WILL NOT replace a Horizontal (side) crankshaft engine. Vertical Crankshaft Engine when mounted, the crankshaft will be on the bottom pointing down. PLEASE MAKE SURE you understand this or give us a call. Swap your old engine’s wire harness with the new engine’s wire harness if it is not the same as the new engine’s wire harness. “We” and “us” mean EnginesForLess, Inc.
