The following is for mower with a separate choke cable: Your mower may have a separate cable to connect to the choke device of your engine. Our engine has a Choke-a-matic feature. What this means is that the choke and throttle device connect to the same cable. If you push the throttle lever all the way up, it will choke the engine. So you will have to mark on your throttle lever where is the maximum point. If you pass that point, you will choke the engine. We think you may be able to transfer the choking device/control from your old engine to the new one or you can always get a combined choke-throttle lever with cable from a local mower shop that fits your mower. Consumer or Residential use. Commercial or Rental use. These numbers can be found on a plate of your engine. We have a lot of engines available. Have not heard from us.
