This post is for a 2009 Gravely Compact Pro 48Z Zero Turn Mower. It is a commercial version that has been used ONLY in residential applications (my lot), and would be great for a lawn care company or a regular Joe who just wants a beefy machine for their own yard like I do! I love this thing, but we recently moved to a much larger parcel and I’ve been offered a good deal on a larger machine. This zero turn has only 557 hours on it (as you can see in the photo) and is in great shape. Be VERY wary of other sellers who don’t disclose the hours. 557 hours — in the words of the dealer we bought from — is a baby. Again, this is a COMMERCIAL zero turn, but wasn’t beat to hell in some commercial setting. I maintained it regularly, and it has ALWAYS been stored in a bone-dry garage. It is due for its annual tune-up — I do that each Spring — but I have ALL the parts it uses and will include them filters, belts, etc. It has newer ignition coils, mulching blades, battery, Gravely’s mulching kit, Gravely’s towing attachment, and will come with tons of extra filters, belts, etc. (not just for the ones for this season). In other words, this is a well taken care of machine. I change almost all of those parts EACH Spring including the blades… I don’t resharpen them! This is an Aftermarket non-OEM Spindle & Pulley kit to fit many of the Great Dane Lawnmowers. The pulley included with this kit is for use with a 61 mower deck. This kit includes the spindle housing, two bearings, spindle shaft, blade bolt, shaft nut, shaft washer, spindle drive pulley, and the pulley spacer. The pulley is about 6 1/2 in diameter and has splines on the inside. The hub sticks out about 1 3/8. This spindle kit fits many different models including the following. I bought it new from local Toro dealership back in 2008. It has a Kohler CV18 18HP engine that is strong and powerful, and now has about 720 hours on it since new. I mow my 3-acre property about 4 times a month during summer and fall leave collection, and it has been gently used and well maintained in tip-top condition. All original manual included. It was serviced last year by the Toro dealer with a new wheel motor and the original rebuilt wheel motor is also included. All blade spindles are solid and greased regularly, and it was just mounted with a new set of mulching blades along with updated K&N air filter with mounting plate for better horse power. The original Kohler filter/housing is also included. It just had engine oil and hydro fluid changed, 3 new mulching blades, new mower belt, and a new hydro pump belt spring from August. It currently has a heavy duty mud tire on it as we have a very wet yard. A pair of Carlisle mower tires are included in the sale. A 5×8 ft convenient tilting trailer is also available for sale.
